We are refreshing Retail Exchange (RX) with a modern look and feel, improved navigation, and stronger security, while keeping the day-to-day work you rely on.
The good news: if you mainly use Purchase Orders, Invoices, and Despatch Advices, your core workflows stay the same. You will still select, review, and process documents as you do today, with a cleaner interface and useful improvements underneath.
This guide explains what is changing, what is new, and how you can try the updated experience before we move everyone across.
Our rollout plan
We are not switching everyone over in one go. We will roll this out in stages so you have time to get comfortable.
Stage 1
Try the new RX
Current stage
After you log in, you can choose Try our new Retail Exchange look and feel. This step is optional.
Same username and password
Switch back any time
Share quick feedback
Stage 2
New RX becomes default
After the trial, the new Retail Exchange becomes the default when you log in.
You will be required to update your password for stronger security
Short period to return to the old site if needed
Advance notice before this change
Stage 3
Full migration
When we are confident the new experience is working well, we retire the old site.
Everyone uses the new Retail Exchange
Clear communication before switch-off
You are in control during the trial. There is no pressure to switch until you are ready. We encourage you to try it and tell us what you think.

The biggest navigation change
A simpler menu structure
The old Retail Exchange had a separate menu page after login and a long dropdown list of document types. The new site replaces this with an Operations Dashboard home and a persistent sidebar. The menu is always visible on the left, and the current section is clearly highlighted.
For most users, this is the main thing that looks different. Your day-to-day screens (Purchase Orders, Invoices, and Despatch Advices) are in the same place in the sidebar.
Sidebar now starts with Dashboard, then Purchase Orders, Invoices, Despatch Advices, and Other Message Types.
Other message types
In the old site, many document types had their own menu item (for example Price Catalogues, Statements, Remittance Advices, Returns Instructions, and others).
In the new Retail Exchange, these are brought together under Other Message Types and Advanced Search.
Less common documents live under Other Message Types (and Advanced Search).

Getting started: your first login
Log in to Retail Exchange as usual with your existing username and password.
Look for Try our new Retail Exchange look and feel and select it.
After login, you land on the Operations Dashboard. Use the sidebar on the left to open Purchase Orders, Invoices, or Despatch Advices.
Use the date filter at the top of the screen to set your date range (defaults to the last 7 days).
Use the column filters, or trading partner / division filters, to find specific documents.
Click the dedicated links on each row to view orders, invoices, notes, tax, or files.
When you are finished, use Give feedback (header or user menu) to rate your experience (1–5 stars) and leave an optional comment.
If you prefer the current site, use Return to previous version. Feedback is optional and never blocks you from returning.
Giving us feedback
Your feedback during the trial period is valuable. You can:
Click Give feedback from the header or user menu (star rating 1–5 required, plus optional comments)
Share feedback when you switch back to the previous version (optional; you will not be blocked from returning)
We review all feedback and use it to improve the experience before the full rollout.
